The character is required to sneak through a series of environments while staying out of sight of guards and performing silent assassinations. Mark of the Ninja consists of stealth-oriented 2D platforming. They all look different and have their own unique skills. But it was good most of the time, and even in most of those tricky times I was able to strategize a way out of the situation.
Once in a blue moon the checkpoint would be in an awkward place (like next to a dog who’s in the progress of sniffing you, or within ! of a baddie), so it’s not infallible. If you screw up a stealth mission, for example, you can go back to the last checkpoint quickly in the menu and it doesn’t take you that far back.
